1.Couples who are planning to have children,especially when one of the couple is a thalassemia carrier or patient；
2.Patients suffering haematological abnormalities；
3.Someone whose blood relative was diagnosed as a thalassemia carrier or patient.
Specimen: 300μl of whole blood or other cell samples.
